A New Chapter for Wabanaki

Wabanaki Campground has long served as a beloved summer escape for generations of families visiting the shores of Lake Ossipee in Freedom, New Hampshire. We carry those memories with us as we look to the future.

Today, Wabanaki has successfully transitioned from a public campground into a private, co-operatively owned community. The land, beach, docks, and facilities are now collectively owned and maintained by a dedicated group of families who came together to preserve this special place.

Important Notice to Visitors:

Because we are now a private association, we are closed to the general public. We no longer offer public campsite bookings, day-use passes, transient parking, or public boat slip rentals. Access to the grounds, beach, and docks is strictly reserved for our co-owners, their families, and registered guests. We thank you for respecting our privacy and the peace of our community.
